QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Middle East Studies major. Grades, class standing, ACT scores, letters of recommendation, and financial need considered. Must declare a second major in an approved field with a Middle East studies component. Preference given to permanent Arkansas residents.
NOTIFICATION: May 1. Application deadline: March 15.
AMOUNT
Full scholarship, $11,600.
Partial Scholarship: $6,000
ALSO OFFERED: Competitive funding for language study in Morocco at Al-Akhwayn International University, in Tunisia at the Institut Bourguiba pour les Langues Vivantes, and in Egypt at American University in Cairo. Funding for summer study projects considered on a case-by-case basis.
