This job opportunity is for the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) position at Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS), NBP/MD and Linthicum/MD facility. The IAM is responsible for the execution of the Information Assurance program at the NBP and Linthicum facilities as stipulated by various USG requirements documents including (but not limited to): NISPOM, ICD 503, and associated NIST documents. The selected candidate will be responsible for day to day effective execution of the Information Assurance program to include (but not limited to):

·Certification and Accreditation (SSPs, testing, etc.)

·Information Assurance sustainment activities (hardware change management, software change management, account management, media protection, user interface, file transfers, etc.)

·Information System Self Inspection, Auditing, and Continuous Monitoring

·Interfacing with Internal/External Customers: IC Customers, Program Managers/Directors, IT, etc.

·IA Training and Awareness

·Incident response, investigation, and resolution

·Development, maintenance, and execution of effective, well written, and customer compliant IA policies and procedures

·Basis of Estimate (BOE) development

The candidate for this position must function with a high degree of autonomy with very little management oversight. In addition to the execution of the IA program at the NBP and Linthicum facilities, the selected candidate will function as an IA subject matter expert for the NBP and Linthicum primary customer. In this capacity, the IAM will provide tactical guidance and dotted line oversight for other IIS sites and ISSOs that have information systems accredited by this customer.

This position will report directly to the Capital/Eastern Region Information Assurance Manager (IAM) for Raytheon IIS.

* This position will require the successful completion of a polygraph examination.

Required Skills:

·Must be a US Citizen with a current, active TS/SCI w/Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.

·Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, or related field of study; or in lieu of education, 12 years of experience.

·8+ years of experience in Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, Security Engineering, or IT Systems Administration

·Prior ISSM/IAM experience

·Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and supporting Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation

·Experience supporting various computer hardware platforms and multiple operating systems, both stand alone and LAN/WAN configurations

·Working knowledge of operating systems security features and settings (e.g. Windows, UNIX, and Linux)

·Professional demeanor, good interpersonal skills, and ability to excel in a high-paced multi-tasked environment

·Ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and manage to schedule

·Willingness to perform security tasks outside specialty (e.g. program security) and be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio, etc.)

·Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written modes, and be able to author and present subject specific presentations. Comfortable with public speaking

·Must be willing and able to travel between National Business Park/MD and Linthicum/MD and sites on a daily basis (as needed) to support activities at both locations.

·Must be willing and able to travel to other locations as required up to 10% of work schedule
Desired Skills:

·In-depth knowledge of NIST special publications, CNSS policies and instructions, and other requirements documents associated with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

·Experience with Xacta IA Manager

·Experience with various information system security assessment/hardening tools – WASSP, DISA Gold Disk, SECSCN, DISA SRR, Retina, etc.

·Working knowledge of Wide-Area and Local Area Networks (WAN/LAN), to include Cisco-based routers, switches, and firewalls

·Experience with computer forensic tools and investigation methodologies

·DoD 8570.1M compliant Professional Certification (e.g. Security +, CISSP, GSEC, etc.)

Applicant subject to a U.S. government security background investigation and must meet minimum eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Current TS/SCI w/FSP clearance required. U.S. citizenship required.
